Terms
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms cover your use of skewtrading.com ("Skew"). Using the site means you accept them. If you don't, please don't use it.
Research only
Skew publishes general research about upcoming company events. It isn't a registered investment adviser or a broker-dealer, it doesn't know your finances, and it doesn't owe you a fiduciary duty. A grade is our read of a stock, written for everyone who uses the site. It is never a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. You decide what to trade, and the gains and losses are yours.
Accuracy
Grades, odds, expected moves and backtests come from formulas and third-party data. Formulas can be wrong, and prices and calendars can be late, missing or revised. Past results don't predict future ones. Check anything that matters with your broker before you act on it.
Who can use Skew
You need to be at least 18, or to have a parent or guardian who has read these terms and agrees to them for you. Accounts are approved by hand. One person per account, so keep your login to yourself. We can suspend or close an account for abuse, scraping, reselling our data or a shared login.
Premium, cancelling and refunds
Premium is sold by Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), which is the merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, handles sales tax and shows you the price and renewal terms before you pay. Its buyer terms apply to the purchase.
Your plan renews until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Polar's customer portal (the link is in your receipt), and you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial periods, but if something went wrong (a double charge, or Premium never worked for you) email us within 30 days of the charge and we'll sort it out through Polar. This doesn't limit any refund right the law gives you. If we raise the price, we'll tell you before it applies to your plan.
Your stuff and ours
Notes, logged trades and Wire messages you write stay yours. You let us store them and show them where the site needs to, like the Leaderboard. The site, the grades and the writing on it belong to Skew. Use them for your own research. Please don't copy them out in bulk or republish them.
No warranty, and a cap on liability
Skew is provided as is and as available, with no promises that it's accurate, complete or always up. As far as the law allows, Skew isn't liable for trading losses, lost profits or indirect damages, and its total liability to you for any claim is capped at what you paid Skew in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you haven't paid anything. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. For bigger changes we'll tell you first. Pennsylvania law governs these terms, and disputes go to the state or federal courts there, unless the law where you live gives you a right to bring them at home. Questions go to Skew HQ on the Wire or ltboyle622@gmail.com.
