SKEW

About Skew

Hi, I'm Luke Boyle, the student founder. I built Skew for traders like me who are willing to take a risk but kept getting burned by luck (or lack thereof). Skew helps us to take as much chance out of the equation as possible.

So I measured how much chance there is. Skew's backtest covers about 24,000 S&P 500 earnings reports going back to 2014, and the answer was humbling. How big a stock moves on earnings is fairly measurable. Which way it goes is close to a coin flip.

That's what the grade is: a score out of 100 for how big the move on a dated event should be, and how far to trust that number. It leans Long or Short too, usually by a hair. It can't tell you a stock will go up, and I'd be suspicious of anything that claims it can.

Every closed call I've graded, losers included, is on the track record.

None of this is financial advice. Check the numbers yourself before you trade.

Thanks for signing up, and may the odds be ever in your favor.
